Napoleon Dynamite sequence

We made a small sequence of clips from Napoleon Dynamite and needed to achieve the same shots they do in the film. We filmed our own scenes with us acting in them.
This was the original sequence
The story board process we had to look at ll the shots in the sequence and draw them in the boxes. I think it was usufull having these but i could of improved it by having more notes on dialog and how the  scene should be shot

We worked quite well as a team recording and we didn't get in any arguments over the process. However we could have improved how closely we tried to replicate the same shots as the orginal sequence. Also we needed more notes on what kind of shots where needed

My project window looked like this..
I organised it by naming each clip by the scene and the take number. This helped me know what order the clips should be in also it helped me to see what takes where the best ones because sometimes we had multiple shots to work with

This is a screen shot from one of our scenes.  We tried to include a similar backdrop to the original scene. This can be improved because in the original shot you can see the tops of the principles head and also we needed to create more space for Napoleon to walk up like in this shot
